hmmm...have you ever experienced some form of deja vu?
well, i certainly did yesterday when my mom sent me a link to this photo...
that's my kitchen! well, a photo of a kitchen...
that actually matches the image i have in my head of what i want my kitchen to eventually look like!
whenever i FINALLY get to have that full kitchen remodel and not just a "face lift".
isn't it amazing?

now don't get me wrong...i LOVE my "face lift" because it wasn't that long ago that the kitchen looked like the above... however... you know how us D-I-Y-ers are! we're always, and i mean always scheming to change and update something...it's what gives us our mojo :)!
so one of these days...err years...i'll get that massive kitchen remodel, but until then i'll just be dreaming of this beauty... and imagining how i want mine to look...
after a few tweaks of course :D!
{psssst: i've got a few updates coming on the master bedroom that involve a possible "final" decision on the art wall and.... a headboard! keep your fingers crossed that this headboard idea really does work out :)!}

I love the super dark walls with the white cabinets. I don't often see darker hues in kitchens, but I think it's a great design trend.
